Amanda Wakeley is a British designer, popular with both Kate Middleton & Megan Markle, as well as the late Princess Diana. Her designs have been described as strong, but delicate. Simultaneously edgy & ethereal, this elegant gown is exactly that. The fabric (100% viscose) drapes glamorously & flows beautifully. The color is hard to describe; it has a slight beige undertone, but is more grey than white & can look warmer or cooler w/ different light. I'd almost call it dove grey, but paler. This shade is contrasted by the sleek, black, 100% silk ribbon detail that fastens in the back. I tried to do some research on this dress & found a top that looks to be from the same collection. The color is "Antique" & the original price of the blouse alone was $514.86 US, so I can only estimate the price of the gown. Stunning Michelle is 5'6" and 32-25-34. The dress is tagged UK 8/US 6, but the ribbon at the empire waistband has NO stretch and was tight on Michelle's 29" underbust. Few small flaws.
